Ok kids we are in the final countdown until the jolly guy slides down the chimney bearing gifts (or coal). For some of us this might mean sipping hot cocoa while admiring your perfectly wrapped gifts that are sitting under your perfectly decorated tree.
For others this might be realizing that there are still people on your list that you need gifts for and you are panicking, but never fear I have 5 simple gift ideas that a quick trip to The Dollar Tree (yes the dollar store! holla for a dolla #amirite) is all ya need! (*Also if you are reading this after the holidays some of these ideas can be easily adapted to use for birthday presents too*)
1.) For the baker in your life
This one is super easy to but together! All ya need are a couple of cookie cutters and a fun and festive oven mitt! Bonus points if you stick cookie mix into the mitt!
2.) For the person that has too much stuff
We all have that friend that is extremely picky or isn’t that materialistic or honestly owns everything. This can make gift hunting complicated. I made these for a little Christmas party I threw and it was a huge hit! The Dollar store sells these adorable mini bottles of sparkling apple juice. I made little tags that say “Cheers to great friends like you” and bam an adorable present for literally $1
3.) For the girl (or guy) with the mug obsession
Ok I’m kinda cheating here, because this is actually a gift that one of my besties gave to me this year! But I love it and it is really cute! She knows that I am utterly obsessed with mugs. She added some candy bars inside of it and bam its perfect!
4.) For the girl who always has perfect nails
Ok this is kinda a twofer because there are two different ways to go about this. If you know her fav nail color you can just buy a bottle of that. (Did you know that The Dollar Tree sells Revlon nail polish, because that is a game changer). Then I made a tag that says “For your mistletoes” and there ya go-adorable.
If you aren’t sure what color to go with then just grab a classic red color. Then make a tag that says “Rudolph the Red Toes Reindeer.” Its simple, cute, and punny!
5.) For the gal that loves lipstick
Another pun-inspired idea that I simply love. All you need is a chap-stick or lip balm of your choice and a handful of hershey kisses. Then add a tag that says “Merry Kissmas and Chappy New Year!”
